Step 1
We will start with the head. Start by drawing an oval for the head (a round is good too).
Step 2
Draw two smaller circles at the top of the oval. The oval line should “penetrate” the circle.
Step 3
Make the facial features of your frog. Draw two black circles for the eyes. Frogs will look colder if the eyes are facing one direction (left or right) instead of just looking straight at you.
Draw the mouth. Start on the left (or on the right, anything that feels more natural) and draw a line from one side to the other, slightly curving it in between. Add two nostrils.
Draw the outline of the body by creating two curves on the left and right. Young children can draw straight lines – the end result will be fine.
Step 4
Add arches! Draw left and right frog legs – right when you start writing number 2 and the same shape on the other side. Also draw abdomen, draw a U shape in reverse.
Step 5
Now to complete the legs. Draw the back of the frog and the front leg.
If you have higher skills, you can add finger details as shown on the image, while younger children and beginners can only draw a straight line (making the legs more triangular ).
Step 6
Almost done. Draw a line under the belly frog and complete the details (points on the body).
