Neji Hyuga Drawing Step by Step

Step 1

Let’s draw Neji! Start with a circle for his head and then add facial contours. Then you will draw his torso and legs as you see here and make lines for his arms.

Step 2

You will now start sketching Neji’s hairstyle by drawing the outline shape for his hairstyle. Once that’s done, you can draw the starting line for his forehead protector.

Step 3

Using the facial guides, you’ll begin to outline the shape of Neji’s eyes and eyebrows. Once that’s done, you can draw the shape of his nose. Next, sketch in more detail the forehead protector and then draw the emblem of his clan. Finally, start sketching the shape of his left arm and/or shirt sleeve and remember to draw some crease lines.

Step 4

Now, you will complete his face by outlining the raised veins on the sides of his cheeks. Next draw the mouth, and then complete the arm and hand outline. Be sure to add details and definition to the long-sleeve ninja shirt.

Step 5

Continue drawing the shape and style of his shirt jacket, then add lines, folds, and pleats. Once that’s done, you can basically move on to the next step.

Step 6

Since Neji has extremely long hair, you will need to draw a little bit of the ponytail that is tied at the end of his hair. Next, sketch out the original shapes of his pants and or legs, and like his shirt, add strokes so that his pants look a bit baggy.

Step 7

For the final drawing step, all you have to do is draw his crotch, then draw his feet, shoes, and toes. Erase all the guides and shapes that you drew in step one to prepare your Naruto character for color.
