Step 1: Fisrt draws the center of the flower as an oval spot.
Step 2: Then draw the flower so it should be round, flattened petals drawn around the center and then gently stroke below the petal to complete the bottom of the flower.
Step 3: In this step draw cactus leaves by drawing many round squares.
Step 4: Finally draw small lines on the leaves to make spikes.
Interesting Facts about Cactus
The cactus is found naturally in the desert. They tend to grow more in North and South America. They are tall, hollow green plants covered with thorns. They survive well because they store water and help desert animals find shade. Cactus is waxy when touched because the wax helps them hold water inside. Cactus spines protect the plant from birds and other animals that try to “steal” its water. Some cactus plants grow brightly colored flowers. These flowers can grow for days or wilt in just a day. Cactus can grow to be really tall, as small as a bouncing ball. Because of their ability to conduct water, they make excellent houseplants.
