Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

Start by sketching Rapunzel’s face, using curves. Note the “C” shape of the ear, the detailed lines inside the ear, and the overlap of the hairline.

Step 2

Start drawing Rapunzel’s long, blonde hair. Use long and curved lines, starting at the top of the head and meeting at sharp points. Use additional curves to add texture to the hair.

Step 3

Extend two curved lines down from the head to form the neck. Then draw Rapunzel’s blouse. Use wavy lines to wrap the lace at the neck. Then use curved lines to outline the teardrop sleeves as well as the bodice.

Step 4

See details of Rapunzel’s blouse. Stripe curves on sleeves. Use some teardrop-shaped lines to draw a bow at the top of the shirt. Then draw a pair of parallel lines down the bottom of the shirt. Draw an “X” between these lines, making it look like it’s bordered.

Step 5

Draw the sleeves by extending a pair of lines outward from the existing part of the sleeve. Connect them with a curved line and draw a wavy line around the end to indicate the lace. Next, draw two long and curved lines down from the bottom of the shirt to form the skirt. Indicate creases and ripples in the fabric using additional lines.

Step 6

Draw Rapunzel’s arm. Use a series of curves and “U” shaped lines to enclose her arms and fingers.

Step 7

Continue drawing Rapunzel’s long hair. Use a long curved line to outline the hair, and long and short lines to add texture.

Step 8

Draw Rapunzel’s other arm holding some of her hair. First, use curved lines to outline the hair. Then use curved lines and “U” shaped lines to draw the arms and hands.

Step 9

Finish off the bouncy hair on Rapunzel’s arms. Use a long and curved line to outline the hair and shorter lines for texture. Finally, draw Rapunzel’s face. Use circles within circles to form eyes. The shade between the two is the smallest to indicate the pupil. Use wide curves for eyelashes and eyebrows. Shape the nose and mouth from the curves.

Step 10

Rapunzel color. Her hair is usually blonde, and her dress is purple and pink.
