How to Draw Umbreon

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

Start by drawing a circle to form Umbreon’s head. Then stretch the two curves down from the edge of the circle. To have the lines meet at one point, sketch Umbreon’s muzzle.

Step 2

Below the head, there is an unusual shape. Use a long, curved line and fold it back over itself. This forms Umbreon’s neck and body. Notice the two bottom bulges that represent the shoulders and hips.

Step 3

Draw Umbreon’s forelegs. For each leg stretch two almost parallel curves down from the body. Notice how the curves are at different angles, representing different positions of the legs. Use a curve to connect the foot lines, around the legs. Use short, curves to differentiate your toes.

Step 4

Draw the hind legs. Use long and curved lines to outline the legs. Notice the rounded shape of the hips and upper legs. Connect the leg lines with a curved line around the legs. Separate the toes using short and curves.

Step 5

Draw the rest of the hind legs, sketching it out with a pair of curves. Draw the feet and toes using short, curves.

Step 6

Remove guide lines from body and head.

Step 7

Outlines Umbreon’s long and fox-like ears. Use two long curves for each line and let them meet at a point. Draw a vertical tail in the same way.

Step 8

Ear and tail bandages. Use two parallel curves for each. Then, draw points on Umbreon’s face, shoulders, and hips. For each point, place a small oval in a larger oval.

Step 9

Outlines Umbreon’s large eyes. Use two curves around the shape of each eye. The lines must meet at points at each end. In each eye, draw a small oval in a larger oval to form the iris and pupil. Express the nose using a small mark at the end of the snout.

Step 10

Color your Umbreon. Umbreon is black with red eyes, yellow spots, and yellow stripes.
