You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

The Harpy Eagles are large predators living in central and southern America. Start your drawing with the mines. This can be done with two long triangles. The top triangle must be larger and have edges curved to a sharp point. Behind the beak, place a small oval for the eyes.

Step 2

Now let’s draw the neck and feathers on the head! The neck is just a simple curve coming down from the mine. Another curve should be on the right. Next, draw the feathers. This may look complicated, but each is just a small detour to the next coat. The hair on the front and back of the head should be smaller than the fur in the middle.

Step 3

Now draw the wings! Make it with a long curve starting from the back of the neck. Then draw another curve starting right next to it, curved left and then down. At the bottom of the wing, add curves connected to each other to create the wings.

Step 4

Now for the first leg. Create two lines to create the outline of the leg. Then place the three prongs underneath for individual claws. Set of small pointed triangles.

Step 5

For the chest, draw a line starting down about half the leg you drew. It should be tilted up and to the left, arched at the end. However leave a space to draw another wing later.

Step 6

Next draw the other leg with two lines going down, curved to the left. Then draw three nails first and one nail after. The tips of these claws should also have sharp points.

Step 7

For the other wing, draw a curve starting from the top of the void you left and ending at the foot. Then add a few lines between the legs to refer to the feather of that wing.

Step 8

Now draw the tail feathers by making multiple lines going down. Each feather is a simple loop curve connected to another loop curve, creating individual feathers.

Step 9

Now draw the tree branch it is standing on! Lastly let’s color the eagle.
