Easy Fox Drawing Step by Step
Step 1
First, let’s draw an outline for the fox’s body shape! One circle for the head and two circles for the body give a general idea of the fox’s structure so you can draw some stick-like appendages for the legs and a circle at each end to show the paws. A long wavy line is drawn on the circle furthest from the head to serve as the basis for the drawn tail.
Step 2
Next, start drawing realistic sketches. The ears, eyes, snout, and more pronounced shape of the head actually make up the fox’s face. You can also give the legs more shape. Extend the width of the legs and attach the feet more firmly. Fox tails tend to be large and soft, so don’t be afraid to give the fox a nice ruffled tail!
Step 3
Almost done! Now we can add some more! Foxes have a lot of fur, so you can paint some hair on your head and body or wherever you think it looks best! Adding additional details to the face like the nose, pupils, mouth, and eyebrows will really give the face character! Changing the shape of the eyebrows and mouth can give the fox a whole new expression, so experiment! The last to be added will be the paws and claws. Each foot has five claws, but the two closest opposites do not have a fifth.
Step 4
And there you go! Your own fox! Give him some color and he’ll look great.
