You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
This step is very simple. What you’re going to do here is draw some lines to help keep the riffle’s structure straight and perfectly aligned. There are 9 lines in total and they vary in size. Use this step as a guide to show you how long to draw each line and where.
Step 2
In this step, you will start sketching the M16s frame. Start from scratch and use the lines as your guide to draw the nose, barrel, and scope shell. All of these are drawn on top of the sketch. Now what I want you to do next is start sketching the grenade launcher, which is also a simple process. All you are doing is drawing a cylindrical section of pipe. As you can see each part of the rifle that you are drawing aligns perfectly with each line that you drew in step one. Continue to outline the sections shown above and move on to the next step when you’re done.
Step 3
Now in this step, you can already see what your sketch will look like when you’re done. Now it’s the same as the M16. So here what you’re going to do is draw the rest of the top of the weapon by filling in the bottom of the barrel and detailing the specs, then move over and outline it all. all the details along the barrel until you get to the middle. of M16. When you go to the center detail and define the shell of the gun as shown above. Since it is difficult to tell you each individual part on this device, the best thing to do is to enlarge the image and follow the visual instructions. Once that’s done, you can start sketching the barrel of the grenade by finishing off the design lining, which looks exactly like a plastic washing machine drain. Finish this step by drawing in the ink cartridge, the handle, and the top of the riffle.
Step 4
Step 4 is also a very easy step as the rifle is basically done at this point, all that remains to do is outline some details and definitions of the weapon. There is a grip attached to the grenade launcher, which you must sketch before you can continue to dig into the details of the rifle. It is also like a drain hose of a washing machine. After you do that, what you want to do is detail the cartridge and gun stock. Triggers also need to be better outlined. After you feel confident that your M16 looks superior, you can go ahead and erase the instructions you drew in step 1. More than you are ready! Move on to the next step that is.
Step 5
Here’s what the finished M16A4 will look like when you’ve finished your sketch. Isn’t it fun, I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on how to draw an M16A4 assault rifle, I’ll show you guys later.
