You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

Traditionally, we start with the simplest. Describe the swan head with a simple circle. Next, describe the bird’s body in an oval form. Don’t try to make the shapes completely clean and smooth.

Step 2

Now, using two long curves, connect the swan’s head and body. The upper part of the neck should be significantly thinner than the lower part.

Step 3

Depict a stream of water as pictured from the artists at Easydrawingart.com. Please note that the water flow must follow the contour of the swan body.

Step 4

Set the pencil aside for a while to take the eraser and use it to remove the construction lines described in the first stages.

Step 5

On top of the swan, depicts a characteristic beak and a small round eye, located next to the beak. The outlines of these details should be clean and sharp.

Step 6

Describes a right wing located on the upper body of a beautiful bird. Use some short lines to depict the feathers on the edges of the wings.

Step 7

Draw the swan tail as a triangular geometric shape. To make this part of the body more like a tail, draw the feathers using a few short lines.

Step 8

Now again select eraser to remove the remaining building lines. Complete the painting of the swan by depicting the beautiful water waves surrounding the bird.

Step 9

So if the swan painting is done, it’s time to color it. Use ivory for the coat, orange for the beak, and dark brown for the eye area.

The tutorial on how to draw a swan is complete, and Easydrawingart.com’s team wants to give you some important tips related to portraiture of this beautiful animal.
To make the swan painting more convincing, add more feathers to the wings and tail. In general, if you increase the texture of the plumage, your drawing of a swan will look more eye-catching. The weight of the picture is also facilitated by shadows, which can be depicted in the figure above.
