Step 1

Everything starts with basic shapes, looking at orcs and studying basic shapes

Step 2

Here I have broken most of the orcs into basic shapes.

Step 3

Now we can start filling in some basic details. Add beard and armor. Add teeth and fingers.

Step 4

Now we can really start adding details. I have added coin letters and depth to the hi loin canvas. I also added spikes to his armor.

Step 5

Using an artificial light source helps me add shadows. Orcs often have marks and scars, add them wherever you want.

Step 6

Here you are! Now you have your own orc.
