Maltese Dog Drawing Step by Step
Step 1
Draw a head shape for the dog, then an egg-like body shape. Once that is done, draw according to the instructions on the face.
Step 2
Begin by sketching or drawing out the undercoat-like coat on the dog’s head, ears, then jaw and chin. Once you have the complete dog head shape, you should move on to step three.
Step 3
You can now draw Maltese’s body starting with the front legs, then the chest, abdomen and then the hind legs. Draw the tail and move on to step four.
Step 4
Now that Maltese has a fully drawn body, you can now draw the eyes, nose and mouth. Fill in the eyes leaving some glaring shapes, then add some detail or simple lines to the muzzle, tail, and legs. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up the drawing.
Step 5
This is what your dog should look like when you’re done. Now you can color it and use this cute dog in your next drawing.
