DRAWING ANIMALS – HOW TO DRAW

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

The first thing we’ll do is draw a frame for our dinosaur skeleton. Start with a shape for the head, and then draw out the guides for the neck, torso, and the rest of the body, that is, the long spine and tail, as well as the legs.

Step 2

The first thing you will do here is draw out the skull and lower jawbone of the dinosaur or the jawbone as you see here. You can do this using the shape you drew in step one. Next, draw the neck bones also known as the vertebrae.

Step 3

You will now draw in the hollows where the eyes, nose and brain are if this t-rex is still alive. Next, fill the jaws with some such large sharp teeth, and outline some details. Adding the lining will separate each cervical vertebra, and then move on to step four.

Step 4

Now you will draw the shoulder bone which is also connected to the arm, elbow joint, forearm, and small fingernails or hands. Take your time so you can draw each bone correctly and add in those little details.

Step 5

As you do this step, you will draw the backbone or back bones along with the ribs. This is the chest cavity of the T-Rex and as you can imagine, these dinosaurs were gigantic in size.

Step 6

Now let’s draw the pubic, and hip bones as well as the femur and shin bones. This is where you will need to take your time so be patient when doing this step.

Step 7

The first bone you’ll draw here is the pubic bone and it’s the little piece that looks like its protrusion past the top of the knee. Next, draw the longer piece of bone below the pelvis. This fibrous-looking bone is called the ischium bone. You will then work to retract the remaining inner leg as well as the ankle, foot, and toe bones.

Step 8

For the final step, all you have to do is draw the long tail, as well as all the connected vertebrae. Take your time so you can have a nicely aligned bone structure. Erase the mistakes you made and clean the instructions.

Step 9

Once you’re all done, you’ll have yourself a nicely drawn dinosaur skeleton like you see here. Use it to your liking and that’s it.
