Step 1
As in the melon lesson, we first sketch the outer strokes in a regular oval shape. Use a smaller oval outline to define the location of the trunk. Try to make the outline even and clear so we don’t have to edit everything later.
Step 2
Now with the help of a large number of simple lines arranged in random order we will draw the texture of the cantaloupe. All these lines should be very light, barely noticeable.
Step 3
With the help of dense bloom, draw shadows at the bottom of the cantaloupe. Next, draw a shadow on the surface under the tree.
