Step 1
First, draw Eric Cartman’s head as an oval. But before you start drawing, we would like to remind you that in the first steps you do not need to press too hard on the pencil, so that later you can easily erase all the guides.
Step 2
Draw a vertical line symmetrical to the face and a horizontal line of the eyes. So we conventionally divide the head into four parts. It should be noted that these two lines must be strictly perpendicular and they must converge exactly in the center of the face.
Step 3
Draw Eric Cartman’s body using a long, smooth line. It should be similar to the bag and should be slightly wider and shorter than the head.
Step 4
Now draw Cartman’s legs. First, draw two short lines on either side, then connect them with a long horizontal line. Do not try to achieve perfect evenness of all lines.
Step 5
The base is ready. Time for details. Draw a pom-pom on the top of the head. Then draw two perpendicular arcs starting slightly above the eye contour to contour the hat.
Step 6
Draw Cartman’s eyes. In South Park, the eyes are drawn with two ovals. From above, they almost touch the contour of the hat and touch each other along the longitudinal axis of symmetry.
Step 7
This is probably the simplest step in this Eric Cartman how-to tutorial. Just draw the mouth with a curved line like in our example.
Step 8
Now, using a pair of two curves, outline Eric Cartman’s chin. Don’t try to make these lines too smooth, because in the South Part all these lines are intentionally made uneven.
Step 9
Well, we’re on our way. Draw the Cartman gloves as two small lumps on either side of the body. As you can see, the left and right hand are slightly different.
Step 10
Draw Cartman’s shoes. Next, use a few wavy lines to draw the zipper on the jacket. These details should be kept as simple as possible.
Step 11
Erase all the guides and draw three buttons on the jacket. Make the lines clear and dark like in our example. You can follow Eric Cartman’s lines to give it a more cartoonish look.
